Who We Are

The Oregon Narcotics Enforcement Association (ONEA) was formed in 1968 in order to bring law enforcement officers from the local, state and federal levels together for four primary objectives:

• To further the advancement of narcotics law enforcement to a higher professional status
• The continued advancement in the techniques of supervision and investigation in the field of narcotics enforcement
• Fraternalism among our fellow officers, with unity expressed, implied and practiced by each member
• Promotion of mutual cooperation in all area of narcotic and dangerous drug control

After 40 years and currently with approximately 300 members, ONEA has become a model of law enforcement associations and has expanded its objectives to include:

• Promotion and support of private, local and state programs that target at-risk youth
• Direct membership and active involvement with the National Narcotic Officer's Associations' Coalition

 

 

The Oregon Narcotic Enforcement Association is a non-profit organization that provides high quality training to law enforcement officers at two main conferences each year as well as specialized regional training. These conferences are attended mainly by officers, analysts and District Attorneys who specialize in drug enforcement.
